yay! the catapult finally goes more than 50 feet!!. i think we're about 65 now. still not that great but oh well. really. what really is the point of spending so much money on just a physics project? (we spent about $12 just to make the newspaper chair.argh) at least it was fun. (sitting there among piles of newspaper eating frozen jello pudding pops..^_^) the catapult on the other hand...grrr.. i stood there soaking in the rain this afternoon while my dad kept testing tennis balls on the catapult. i think i was supposed to be catching the balls and throwing them back to him but somehow that didn't quite work out. half the tennis balls ended up in either our neighbor's yard or in the gutter. woooopss. and then other ppl passing by start to stare at us. hmm.. yup, the crazie asian standing out in the rain playing with a little wooden contraption. haha...
